The LORD God said: “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a suitable partner for him (Genesis 2:18).”
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one body (Genesis 2:24).
The priest shall marry a virgin (Levitico 21:13).
So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate (Mathew 9:6).”
Consequently, while her husband is alive she will be called an adulteress if she consort (Romans 7:3)
The husband should fulfill his duty toward his wife, and likewise the wife toward her husband (1 Corinthians 7:3).
If you marry, however, you do not sin, nor does an unmarried woman sin if she marries; but such people will experience affliction in their earthly life, and I would like to spare you that (1 Corinthians 7:28).
For the husband is head of his wife just as Christ is head of the church, he himself the savior of the body (Ephesians 5:23).
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church and handed himself over for her (Epheisans 5:25).
Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the last times some will turn away from the faith by paying attention to deceitful spirits and demonic instructions through the hypocrisy of liars with branded consciences (1 Timothy 4:1-2).
For this is also how the holy women who hoped in God once used to adorn themselves and were subordinate to their husbands (1 Peter 3:5).
